About the Role

As a Senior Trainer, you will be the face of our training program — responsible for driving student outcomes, shaping curriculum and mentoring junior trainers. You will work closely with our placement team to ensure every student is interview-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver live classroom and online data analytics training sessions covering Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI and Tableau
• Design and update curriculum modules, practical assignments, case studies and capstone project briefs every quarter
• Conduct mock interviews, technical assessments and provide actionable career guidance to students
• Review current job descriptions from Hyderabad MNCs and align training content accordingly
• Evaluate student performance through weekly tests, project reviews and progress tracking
• Mentor and guide junior trainers to maintain training quality standards
• Work with the placement team to prepare students for data analyst interviews
• Maintain updated training materials, slide decks and student handouts

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on industry experience in data analytics or business intelligence
• Minimum 1 year of training, teaching or mentoring experience (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib), Power BI and Tableau
• Strong verbal communication skills in English; Telugu or Hindi is an added advantage
• Ability to explain complex analytical concepts clearly to non-technical beginners
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline — B.Tech, BCA, B.Com, BSc or equivalent
• Passion for teaching and genuine enthusiasm for student success

About the Role

Data Analyst Academy is looking for a passionate Data Analyst Trainer to teach practical data analytics skills to batches of freshers and working professionals in Hyderabad. This is an excellent role for data analysts who want to transition into or combine an education career.

You will guide students through Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI and Tableau with hands-on projects and real-world case studies from Indian businesses. You will be fully supported with curriculum materials, training guides and ongoing mentorship from our senior trainers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live classroom and online training sessions in Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI and Tableau
• Assign practical exercises, project tasks and quizzes aligned to current industry job requirements
• Grade student assignments and provide detailed, actionable feedback
• Support students in completing industry projects across e-commerce, finance, healthcare and marketing domains
• Conduct weekly student assessments and maintain progress records
• Participate in mock interview preparation and placement readiness sessions
• Suggest improvements to curriculum content and teaching materials as needed

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of practical experience in data analytics or related role
• Working knowledge of Excel, SQL, Python (at least Pandas and NumPy), Power BI or Tableau
• Clear verbal communication skills in English — ability to explain concepts simply
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Prior training or teaching experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Genuine passion for analytics and for helping others learn
